During inspection tour in Shanghai on Sep.13, 2010, The California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (ZPMC) Changxing Base. The Governor smiled all the way and shook hands with many of the workers. He even made a great speech at the fifth shipment ceremony of the new San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge. He said the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge fabircated by ZPMC is the communication bridge, friendship bridge between China and America, and will witness the good cooperation relationship of the two countries. He hope the Bridge can complete early, provide services for San Francisco and Oakland.

The San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge is Californian Government project. ZPMC won this project four years ago, with American Bridge/Fluor (ABF) as the contractor. Sense Engineering Services Ltd has provided over 100 personnel including inspectors (QA/QC, NDT, Coating, Welding), technical assistants and etc since the February of 2008.
